HungaroControl, ATC union reach agreement
Air navigation service provider HungaroControl and the trade union of air traffic controllers at Budapestʼs Ferenc Liszt International Airport reached an agreement on Wednesday, with the union calling off a strike announced from April 23, state news agency MTI reported, citing a HungaroControl statement.
As reported earlier, the union staged a warning strike earlier on Wednesday, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., with Ferenc Liszt International operating at limited capacity during the strike.
Air traffic controllers demanded improvements in working conditions and their schedules, HungaroControl said.
