Hungarian-Israeli committee discusses self-driving vehicles
The Hungarian-Israeli Joint Committee for Economic Cooperation started a two-day meeting in Zalaegerszeg, western Hungary, on Monday, state news agency MTI reported.
Self-driving vehicles and related topics will be the focus of the two-day meeting, said Minister for Innovation and Technology László Palkovics. The meeting is being held at a HUF 45 billion test track for self-driving vehicles Hungaryʼs government is building in Zalaegerszeg.
Ohad Cohen, the head of the Foreign Trade Administration at Israelʼs Ministry of Economy, said Israeli companies in the self-driving vehicle industry had already visited the track, one of only a few around the world.
