BÉT announces changes to BUX, BUMIX indices

The Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT) has announced changes to its main BUX and mid-cap BUMIX indices following a biannual review, state news agency MTI reported Monday.

From March 18, the shares of IT company 4iG, car trader AutoWallis and real estate investor BIF will be included in the BUX index. The shares of regional electricity distributor Émász and automotive industry company Rába will be removed from the basket for failing to meet the criteria for inclusion for the second review in a row.

In addition to 4iG, AutoWallis and BIF, the BUX index will contain the shares of security printing firm ANY Nyrt., property holding company Appeninn, insurer CIG Pannónia, drugmaker Gedeon Richter, business park operator Graphisoft Park, holding company Konzum, Magyar Telekom, oil and gas company MOL, holding company Opus Global, OTP Bank, geothermal energy company PannErgy, Takarék Mortgage Bank, and road haulage company Wabererʼs.

Shares of holding company Akko Invest will be included in the BUMIX index from March 18, while the shares of Csepel Holding, energy efficiency company ENEFI, Rába and spirits maker Zwack will be removed.

The other shares in the BUMIX basket are 4IG, ANY, Appeninn, AutoWallis, BIF, CIG Pannónia, Graphisoft Park, Konzum, building materials maker Masterplast, Nordtelekom, Opus, PannErgy, Takarék Mortgage Bank and Wabererʼs.

The shares in the regional CETOP index will remain the same: Avast, Banca Transilvania, Bank Polska Kasa Opieki, BRD Groupe Société Générale, CD Projekt, ČEZ, Erste Group Bank, Fondul Proprietatea, Gedeon Richter, Hrvatski Telekom, KGHM Polska Miedź, Komerční Banka, Krka dd Novo Mesto, Magyar Telekom, MOL, Moneta Money Bank, O2 Czech Republic, OMV Petrom, OTP Bank, Polski Koncern Naftowy Orlen, Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo, Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności Bank Polski, Powszechny Zakład Ubezpieczeń, Societatea Nationala de Gaze Naturale Romgaz, and Vienna Insurance Group.
