Air traffic controllers to stage warning strike
HungaroControl, Hungaryʼs air navigation service provider, has confirmed a two-hour warning strike by air traffic controllers, starting at 11 a.m. local time on Wednesday, April 17, the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) said on its network operations portal.
Air traffic controllers could also decide to go on strike for an unlimited time starting on April 23 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time, "depending on the outcome of negotiations," Eurocontrol said.
"[The Network Manager Operations Center] is looking at possible network impact and will organize a conference call beginning of next week," Eurocontrol added.
