Hungary and Romania on Tuesday signed an agreement on the connecting points between motorways in the two countries.
Hungarian National Development Ministry state secretary in charge of transport Pál Völner and Romanian Transport and Infrastructure Minister Anca-Daniela Boagiu signed the agreement on connecting points for the M43 motorway at Csanádpalota (SE Hungary) and the M4 motorway at Nagykereki (E Hungary).
The M43 could be completed by the first half of 2013, by which time the road on the Romanian side will also be finished. The M4 is to be completed by 2016 and will connect to the north Transylvanian highway.
