Hungary, Laos discuss agriculture, trade
Hungary and Laos began negotiations on tied aid of tens of millions of dollars to finance Hungarian agricultural projects in the Asian nation, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced yesterday.
Next June, Hungary is planning to open a trading house in Laos in order to tap into the excellent opportunities offered by that market, Szijjártó informed Hungarian news agency MTI following talks with his Laotian counterpart Thongloun Sisoulit in Milan.
The foreign minister reiterated that bilateral trade between the two countries had tripled over the past year.
