PortfoLion invests €1.5 mln in social media monitor
Venture capital fund PortfoLion, a unit of OTP Bank, Hungary's biggest commercial lender, has invested €1.5 million in Replise, which monitors and indexes online conversations and social media content, the fund said on Monday.
The investment will support the expansion of Replise – earlier called BrandMonitor – abroad, PortoLion said.
PortfoLion now manages eleven active investments in companies active in areas as diverse as biotechnology and fashion.
PortfoLion makes its investments in the framework of the European Union's Jeremie I program.
