Budapest trolley bus purchase contract signed
A HUF 18 bln contract under which the consortium of Skoda and Solaris Bus & Coach will supply 108 new trolley buses for Budapest was signed on Friday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
The supply agreement was signed by Budapest Transport Centre CEO Dávid Vitézy, member of the board of directors of Skoda Electric Karel Majer and sales manager of Solaris Bus & Coach Tomasz Wozniak. The first 24 trolley buses are expected to be delivered next year and start running in June.
