CTP signs 30,000 sqm of lease deals in Hungary in Q1
Real estate developer CTP signed approximately 260,000 sqm in new lease deals in the first quarter of the year, including 30,000 sqm in Hungary, according to a press release issued today.
CTPark Tatabánya in Hungary.
The 30,000 sqm of lease deals were transacted in the country during the first few months of the company’s operations in the new market, the majority of which, 27,000 sqm, were taken by a confidential client in CTPark Tatabánya, the report said.
“We are experiencing a gradual increase in demand for new space in Hungary, which signals that the Hungarian economy is reviving. Companies are growing in confidence and looking for expansion, and this is what we are currently taking advantage of,” said Csaba Hegedűs, asset manager at CTP in Hungary.
The deals signed in the first quarter globally took total lettable area within the CTPark Network to 3.5 million sqm across seven CEE markets, the press release added.
