Synergon announces second EGM after one lacking quorum
Synergon Information Systems Nyrt has called an extraordinary shareholders' meeting for September 12, just days after another EGM to convene on September 8 because the earlier meeting will lack a quorum, the company said on Wednesday. The September 12 meeting will no longer require a quorum. Shareholders representing only 48.85% of voting rights will convene on September 8, the company said, based on the share registry published by clearing house Keler Zrt on August 29. Keler acts as the central depository of Hungary. On the agenda for the meeting are amendments to the company charter and appointments to the board. Shareholders voted to give the supervisory board a mandate to oversee the company until September 30. Since the EGM, two other investors have purchased large amounts of Synergon shares: Cashline Zrt, an investment company, and Pannonplast Nyrt, a maker of plastic products. Synergon shares, listed in category 'A' of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT), were trading at 930 shortly after the start of trading on Wednesday, down 0.9%. (MTI-Eco, keler.hu)
