WWIG starts new property development

WWIG on Wednesday laid the cornerstone for the first, €138 million phase of a property development on the outskirts of Budapest.

WWIG will build 160 homes, 92,000 square meters of office space and 20,000 square meters of service space in the first phase of the project, called Tópark, said WWIG chairman Lotfi Farbod. Contracts for 40% of the office space have already been signed.

Eurohypo Bank is financing the first phase.

The entire project, which involves the construction of 1.2 million square metres of building space over 13 years, will cost €2.4 billion. (MTI-Econews)
