UPS, the world’s largest parcel service company, is introducing two new key solutions – UPS Internet shipping and UPS CampusShip – in Hungary to offer customers increased flexibility and control for processing shipments, UPS said in a press release.
“These internet-based shipping services are introduced in Hungary because it is becoming increasingly important for our customers to use online solutions in fulfilling their shipping needs,” said Zoltán Bándli, Sales and Marketing Manager of UPS Hungary Kft
The internet-based shipping service is already in use in several European countries, Bándli said. Using UPS Internet Shipping, customers can take care of all their shipment processing, track progress and even verify delivery right from their computers.
UPS CampusShip, a web-based technology that makes it simpler for employees in different locations to use a common package shipping system, is expanding its geographic access to 18 additional countries including Hungary. With CampusShip, employees in satellite offices can easily process and prepare UPS package shipping labels from their own desktops. Decision makers can monitor the process with centralised control, allowing them to establish shipping guidelines, and accurately track and allocate shipping costs by department or location.
