Prologis appoints co-exclusive agents in Hungary

ProLogis, a leading global provider of distribution facilities, announced on Thursday that it has signed co-exclusive agreements with CB Richard Ellis and Cushman & Wakefield to act as leasing agents on behalf of ProLogis, in Hungary.

The new agreement will support ProLogis’ continuous efforts to streamline and expedite its leasing activities, and to ensure that ProLogis is ready to respond to all requests for distribution space.

“We are very happy to act as a co-exclusive broker for ProLogis in Hungary,” said Adrienne Konthur, MBA, MRICS, managing director of CB Richard Ellis in Hungary. “Our business relationship with ProLogis in Hungary and throughout Europe has been mutually beneficial in the past, and we expect to see it grow even stronger in the future.”

“Working with ProLogis has always been a professional experience,” said Charles Taylor, MRICS, partner and managing director of Cushman & Wakefield in Hungary. “We are pleased that this agreement has solidified our already strong working relationship. As a co-exclusive agent we can act on behalf of ProLogis to provide added value to our customers, which is a shared best interest.”

“Signing the agreements with CB Richard Ellis and Cushman & Wakefield enables us to focus even more on our professional client service and property management,” said László Kemenes, vice president of ProLogis in Hungary. “Although the agreement is exclusive, I would like to emphasize that all inquiries from any other consultants are still very welcome through the co-exclusive agents. We firmly believe that this cooperation will be rewarding for both our customers and the agents, and ProLogis as well”.

The co-exclusive agents are appointed as of September 2009, in relation to all ProLogis’ available units in Hungary totaling approximately 110,000 square meters. Currently the Hungarian portfolio consists of six distribution parks (29 buildings) totaling more than 485,000 square meters of industrial space. (BBJ Online)
