A consortium of construction company Magyar Építő and property developer Arcadom has won a tender to build a multi-functional conference and concert center in southern Hungary’s Pécs.
The consortium won the Pécs local council tender with a bid of HUF 6.3 billion (€22.52 million).
The five-floor complex will have aggregate floor space of 13,438 square meters, featuring two conference halls with capacities of 368 and 287 and a concert hall with a capacity of 1,000. There will also be a 5,470-square-meter parking lot on the 18,833-square-meter site.
Magyar Építő-Arcadom consortium prevailed over two other bidders to win the tender. (MTI – Econews)
