Output of Hungary's construction sector fell 2.2% year-on-year (yr/yr) in October from the same month a year earlier, both unadjusted and workday-adjusted figures published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
Unadjusted year-on-year output has fallen each month since June 2006, with the exception of a 1.9% increase in April and a 2.5% rise in September 2008.
In a month-on-month comparison, construction sector output rose 0.2% from September, according to seasonally- and workday-adjusted data.
Construction output decreased 7.3% yr/yr in January-October. (MTI – Econews)
