The city of Győr (NW Hungary) is spending Ft 650 million to expand its industrial park, managing director of the park's operator László Balogh told MTI on Tuesday.
EU and state development funding is covering Ft 137 million of the cost of the project, Balogh said.
The park will add another 17 hectares to its area as a result of the investment. The space will be divided up into 35 parcels.
The park is currently home to about 90 companies. This year alone, nine companies have purchased parcels in the park.
Companies in the park generated annual revenue of Ft 217 billion last year. They employ about 6,000 people and have so far invested $320 million. (MTI – Econews)
