Hungary's Gunaras has opened a HUF 2 billion four-start hotel in Dombóvár, the company told MTI.
Gunaras won a HUF 600 million European Union grant for the project in 2008.
The 94-room hotel has four conference rooms and a 180-seat restaurant. It is expected to be officially inaugurated in April.
Gunaras, majority owned by a Hungarian private individual, had revenue of HUF 290 million in 2010, but turnover is expected to climb about 50% with the opening of the hotel.
Gunaras later wants to build a HUF 1.2 billion spa and water park next to the hotel.
