Home savings bank Fundamenta-Lakáskassza's stock of client deposits rose 25.2% to HUF 185 billion from the end of December until the end of June, the bank told MTI.
Fundamenta-Lakáskassza held 3.7% of all bank sector deposits at the end of June.
The bank signed more than 65,000 new savings contracts worth HUF 144 billion in H1, slightly under the number in the same period a year earlier, but 19% over the target. At the end of June, Fundamenta-Lakáskassza had about 580,000 deposit contracts and 43,000 lending contracts, making the bank Hungary's fifth-biggest lender.
