Doxeon to build Ft 45.2 bln resort in Bezenye

Cyprus-based Doxeon Investment and Consulting plans to build a Ft 45.2 billion resort and entertainment centre in Bezenye, a town in northwest Hungary near the border with Slovakia, Minister of Economy and Transport János Kóka announced on Friday.

The resort, which Kóka called the “Hungarian Disneyland”, will create 1,800 jobs. Doxeon's project company Lukale will start building the resort on a 150-hectare plot this year and expects to complete it in 2009, Kóka said. The complex will contain an amusement park, a hotel and a shopping mall.
