During the upcoming Munich Transport Logistics exhibition, DHL will present innovative logistics solutions based on its GoGreen climate-neutral shipping initiative.
According to the express and logistics firm, this means that its customers will be able to make use of climate-neutral offers. DHL aims that its GoGreen products will offset the CO2 emissions arising through environmental protection measures. At the exhibition, DHL will also show a parcel robot which recognizes, picks, and sets down loose, standardized parcels by itself.
This enables containers to be unloaded entirely independently. This parcel robot has been developed by DHL’s parent company DPWN, in cooperation with Astrium Space Transportation and the University of Bremen. The robot will be integrated into DHL’s logistics centers throughout the world. (aircargonews.net)
