Demand on Hungary's warehouse market grew 20%-25% in the first quarter, as the weaker forint made properties more attractive, property operator In-Management Ingatlan told MTI.
Prices for warehouse space in Hungary is just half that on Western European markets: the sale price of a B- or C-category warehouse in Western Europe is €700 - €900 per square meter, compared to just €250 - €400 in Hungary, at current exchange rates. There are 2.2 million square meters of B- and C-category warehouse space in Hungary. In-Management holds about 300,000 square meters of this space, or 14% of the total. (MTI – Econews)
