Csopak spins off two property units

Csopak Rt, a holding company with retail and food businesses, will spin off most of its property business into two separate companies under a decision taken by the company's owner, Ivydale Investments, at a recent shareholders meeting, Csopak CEO György Markovszky announced on Wednesday.
The two new companies - Füszért, based in Kaposvár, and Fórum, in Zalaegerszeg - together have a market value of more than Ft 1 billion, Markovszky said. He added that Csopak still owns property in Veszprém, where it is based, worth an additional Ft 1 billion.
Markovszky said he would resign from this post effective April.
