Office space in Budapest can be rented for just a fifth of the price of that in London and rent is among the cheapest in the region, a survey by property company DTZ shows.
Space for a single staff member can be rented for $4,220 a year in Budapest. In London, the same costs $23,260. Budapest was one of the cheapest capitals in the region in terms of office space, along with Prague, Warsaw and Istanbul. The cheapest, however, was Bucharest, where yearly rent of office space for a single person was $3,520. The most expensive capital in the region was Moscow, where the same rent was $8,300.
