Hungary and Serbia need a more intensive trade and investment relationship, state secretary Zsolt Becsey said on Tuesday, at the end of a two-day meeting of the Serbian-Hungarian Mixed Economic Committed in Belgrade.
We are using all of the tools at our disposal to exploit the enormous opportunities in the economic cooperation between Hungary and Serbia, Becsey said, citing cross-border cooperation projects supported by the European Union.
Becsey assessed the results of the two-day meeting with the committee's co-chair, Bohan Pajtic, governor of the Serbian province of Vojvodina. The two men later opened an information point of the Hungarian Investment and Trade Development Agency (ITD Hungary) in Novi Sad. (MTI-Econews)
