Russia to revise stance on independence seekers

A Russian official said Russia should revise its “moderate” stance towards the self-declared entitles if the European states recognize independence of the Serbian province of Kosovo.

Georgia has long claimed Russia supports unrecognized provinces of Abkhazia and South Ossetia through providing economic assistance, granting Russian citizenship and military support. (
