An all-time record 3 million visitors accessed the web during the first round of the general election on April 11, an internet audit company told MTI on Wednesday.
The next immediate record of hits followed right on April 12, when a total of 3.7 million users consulted news providers, as well as community and blog sites on the elections, said Medián Webaudit.
Over 100,000 users read the most popular stories posted online, with 18 of the top 25 covering the election results, the company said.
Interest in reading election news and analyses online dropped by Tuesday, but 50% of the stories most read were still related to the election. (MTI)
