PM submits gov't program to Parliament

Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány submitted his government's program to Parliament on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the program, the government plans to postpone its tax-cutting plan to near the end of its four-year term. The Socialist-led coalition would also continue the sale of state assets and cut public administration jobs to reduce state expenditure, the 85-page document reveals.
The program also covers reforms in healthcare, education, energy policy and agriculture, among others.
