Orbán appoints former central bank deputy governor cabinet advisor

Hungary's Prime Minister-elect Viktor Orbán has named György Szapáry, a former central bank deputy governor, to be one of the chief advisors at the Prime Minister's Office.

Szapáry's appointment was one of several announced by Orbán on Thursday.

Szapáry will be an official liaison at talks with international organizations, including the International Monetary Fund, Orbán said.

He added that the new ministers would meet on Monday to discuss the first steps in government. (MTI-Econews)
