Friday afternoon will see MPs elected to represent take their formal oaths in Hungary's new Parliament.
The session will see President László Sólyom formally asking Fidesz leader Viktor Orbán to form the government. Once that happens Orbán can officially present his candidates who will then be vetted by the competent committees.
If the Fidesz revision to create a smaller Parliament goes through, then this will be the last time that a House of 386 MPs is convened.
Much media attention is focused on the head of the radical-right Jobbik party, Gábor Vona. He promised earlier that he would attend the inaugural meeting wearing the uniform of the Magyar Gárda, a nationalist paramilitary group which was deemed an illegal organization and was dissolved by court.
