The full text of the New Hungary Development Plan is now available online, so the public can debate the plan, newly appointed government spokesperson Emese Danks said on Tuesday.
Between 2007 and 2013, Ft 800,000 per capita will be available, which means Hungary can spend as much as Ft 4 billion-Ft 5 billion a day on development, she added.
A total of 4,500 organizations were invited to participate in the preparation of the NHDP (www.nfh.hu) and these organizations also contributed to previous social debates on the plan, she said. The government will prepare the final version of the NHDP on September 27.
The plan focuses on employment and growth between 2007 and 2013, Gordon Bajnai, government commissioner in charge of the plan, said last Thursday. Funding during the period totals Ft 8,000 billion (€29.4 billion) between 2007 and 2013 and most of this is EU money, he said.
