National Telecommunications Authority head resigns

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has accepted the resignation of National Telecommunications Authority (NHH) chairman Krisztina Rozgonyi effective June 30.

Rozgonyi took the top position at the NHH from February 1, following the resignation of Daniel Pataki. Her mandate was to have lasted until the end of 2013.

Rozgonyi resigned because she wished to fill the post only as long as the regulatory environment at the time of her appointment, an environment that allowed the NHH to operate as an independent authority, remained in place. (MTI-ECONEWS)
