Joint program drawn up for EU trio presidency

The main business associations of Hungary, Spain and Belgium have drawn up a joint program based on priorities for employers during the period the three countries share a trio presidency of the European Union, Hungarian business association MGYOSZ told MTI on Tuesday.

At the heart of the program are helping to bring the Treaty of Lisbon into force, implementing structural reforms, ensuring a secure energy supply and strengthening international relations within the EU.

Hungary will take the EU presidency in the second half of 2011, at the tail end of the trio presidency started by Spain and Belgium. (MTI-ECONEWS)
