A review ordered by the prime minister of the Hungarian Investment and Trade Development Agency (ITD Hungary) is expected to be closed within ten days, National Development and Economy Minister István Varga told journalists on Friday.
There are no plans to sack ITD Hungary chief György Rétfalvi, Varga said.
Varga's ministry told MTI earlier in the week that Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai has ordered an official government review of ITD Hungary.
Internet news portal Index reported the review was made after it was reported that a tender for a HUF 300 million consulting contract called by ITD Hungary was won by a former business partner of Rétfalvi. (MTI-ECONEWS)
