Hungary on Wednesday signed new partnership agreements on €153m in funding from the European Economic Area (EEA) and the Norwegian Financing Mechanisms the country is getting in 2009-2014.
The agreements were signed in Gödöllő, near Budapest, by Norwegian ambassador to Hungary Siri Ellen Sletner, Icelandic ambassador Stefan Skjaldarson and National Development Ministry deputy state secretary Tamás Iván Kovács.
The funding is being used for environmental and R&D projects as well as to develop civil organisations.
