Hungary plans frequency sale in 2010

Hungary plans a sale of frequencies in the 450 MHz band in 2010, deputy chief of the country's newly established media and telecommunications authority Gábor Mátrai said on Wednesday. A tender for the frequencies will be called by the end of the year, Mr Matrai said, speaking at a press conference with Annamária Szalai, the head of the National Media and Telecommunications Authority (NMHH), created from the merger of telecommunications watchdog NHH and broadcasting authority ORTT.
