Gov't to sack economy minister, paper says

The government will soon sack National Economy Minister György Matolcsy, daily Magyar Nemzet said, citing market sources who wished to remain anonymous.

Matolcsy has not been able to start his ministry operating smoothly, creating conflicts with members of the government, the paper said.

The minister could be replaced for professional reasons, but not communications errors, Raiffeisen analyst Zoltán Török said. (MTI – Econews)
