The Hungarian government will spend Ft 100 billion (€392 million) on providing access aids to public buildings for the disabled in the coming years, Labor Minister Péter Kiss told reporters in Budapest on Monday.
”Due to EU support, the government will be able to increase spending on such facilities a hundredfold from mid-2007,” the minister said, inaugurating a special elevator in the Museum of Fine Arts. The program, covering thousands of public institutions, will be completed by 2013, he said.
