Gov't sacks National Development Agency head

Hungarian National Development Minister Tamás Fellegi has sacked National Development Agency head Márton Vagi, Magyar Nemzet Online (MNO) reported.

Vági was let go because he threatened the operation of the agency according to Fellegi's assessment, MNO said.

Fellegi appointed Zoltán Petykó to replace Vági.

Petykó was the CEO of exhibition organizer Hungexpo under the previous Orbán government.

When asked by MTI, the National Development Ministry said it would make a statement on the matter later. (MTI – Econews)
