Government to sell properties

Hungary's government will decide late August which properties it will sell during the course of next year, MTI learned yesterday. As a first step the government is assessing 33 buildings, mainly used by ministries. The deals are expected to bring Ft 75-100 billion to the central budget. The revenues will be used to reduce the country's foreign debt and pay rental fees for its new offices out of the savings on the interest. (MTI, HAM)
