National Development Minister Tamas Fellegi has been appointed government commissioner in charge of fostering economic relations with China, the ministry told MTI.
Fellegi's mandate is for 18 months from December 3, the ministry said.
Fellegi's task will be “to promote initiatives aimed at expanding and intensifying trade partnership between Hungary and China, with special regard to bilateral trade and Chinese investments that create jobs in Hungary,” the ministry said.
Earlier, Fellegi was appointed head of the Hungarian section of the Hungary-China mixed economic committee. He is also co-chairman of the Hungary-Russia Intergovernment Committee for Economic Partnership. (MTI – Econews)
