The board of the State Privatization and Holding (ÁPV) Rt decided at a meeting on Thursday to accept a Ft 5 billion offer by the Erdért-Multicont consortium for a 99% stake in Budapest Freeport Logistics Zrt, a company which has a 75-year license to operate Budapest's Csepel dockyards.
Erdért-Multicont, which is a consortium of Erdért Zrt, Erdért Property Management Kft and Multicont Terminal Kft, raised its offer from an original Ft 3.2 billion. The consortium beat WPR Delta Kft, which bid Ft 4.61 billion, up from its original offer of Ft 3.76 billion, and Waberer's Holding Logistics, which offered Ft 4.7 billion, up from the original Ft 3.1 billion.
