Hungarian drug company Hungaropharma on Friday said Antal Feller would replace Ferenc Szabó as CEO.
Szabó is leaving his post after 12 years to become the chairman of the supervisory board of state-owned Hungarian railway company MÁV from August 1.
Feller came to Hungaropharma in 1999 and has been the company's sales and marketing director since 2001. The chemical engineer earlier worked for Egis and Pfizer-Biogal.
With revenue of HUF 241 billion in 2009, Hungaropharma controls 40% of Hungary's wholesale pharmaceutical market.
It is owned by drug makers Gedeon Richter, Egis, Béres and Magyar Gyógyszer. (MTI-ECONEWS)
