ICON, the restaurant of Budapest Hilton, will offer a new menu and wine list from 2011 July. The new menu was inspired by flavors of the cuisines of South France and Italy but also includes local dishes. Traditional Hungarian dishes are prepared in a modern interpretation. Courses like pork tenderloin with home made pasta and paprika ragout combine traditional flavors in a new variation.
ICON chef István Juhász has included carefully selected cold hors d’oeuvres, light vegetable dishes with olive oil and green herbs, frutti di mare, and delightful deserts with juicy fruits in the menu but meat lovers will not be disappointed either.
The wine list, selected by István Szikszai, offers a wide array of quality international wines to perfectly match with your gourmet food.
The interior of the restaurant was designed and implemented in 2009 by Munkácsy Prize winner Gábor Schinagl. The restaurant’s atmosphere resembles a modern yet homely Mediterranean ambience. Guests can enjoy a wonderful view of the Parliament, the Danube and the Buda hills.
