Malév flights to Greece have not been affected by a strike there, Hungary's national carrier said on Tuesday.
Malév flights from Budapest to Athens and Thessaloniki arrived on time and are expected to depart for the return trip around noon.
In addition to the Malév flights, one charter was set to depart for Zakynthos, but Liszt Ferenc International Airport operator Budapest Airport has no information on any cancellation, communications director Mihály Hardy said.
A 48-hour general strike started in Greece on Tuesday. The strike is a protest against a €28 billion austerity package expected to be approved by the Greek parliament this week.
