Kazakhstan will be the guest of honor at this year's Győr Fair, which starts on June 2, Kambarov Kajrat, cultural attaché at Kazakhstan's embassy in Budapest, said at a press conference in Győr (NW Hungary) on Thursday.
Kazakhstan, a country rich in oil and gas, is building a new capital which could give Hungarian construction companies a new market, Kajrat said.
In addition to Kazakhstan, other foreign guests with pavilions at the fair include Croatia, Cyprus and Austria, fair organizer Győri Vásár said when asked by MTI. About 130 Hungarian companies will also show at the fair.
Almost 40% of the exhibitors at the fair are in the construction industry.
