A contract with the winner of a tender to establish a unified emergency telephone call system using the standard European 112 number will be signed soon, after a challenge to the tender result is decided by the Public Procurement Arbitration Board (KDB), the National Development Ministry said late Wednesday, responding to a query by MTI. "A KDB decision could be taken soon. Afterward, the tender winner is expected to be announced and the contract signed," the ministry said. An earlier KDB resolution shows M and S Informatikai was the winner of the tender with a bid of net HUF 648 million. Enterprise Communication Magyarország bid HUF 789 million and T-Systems Magyarország bid HUF 865 million. The project is supported by HUF 5 billion in European Union funding and HUF 2.7 billion in domestic resources, the ministry said.
