If you are into documentaries, today is your lucky day! The international documentary festival of ELTE University is hugely abundant in its program all weekend long in two art cinemas: Toldi and Kino. From a documentary on former supermodels, to a movie on the Breivik disaster or another on the sheperds of the Swiss Alps.
Fullkolor Design Market
Feel the coolness of the Budapest ruin pub culture, and mix it up with the vivid design life of this youthful city on Saturday afternoon at Kazincy street’s Szimpla Kert (the granddaddy of all ruin pubs) at its monthly Fullkolor Design Market event. From toys to vintage objects to jewelries to everything else.

Katona30 – Memories
The closure event of a unique exhibition, commemorating the 30th anniversary of Hungary’s most renowned theater, Katona József Színház. Among the relics and photographs you can surely revive the most stunning performances of the past 30 year. The exhibition will close with an auction of the presented objects, led by Nóra Winkler on Saturday at 18.00. The proceedings will be donated to support theatrical education.

If you thought that the days of rockabilly were long gone, you were mistaken. These three young, Hungarian lads are playing rockabilly hits and rockabilly covers of today’s hits like there’s no tomorrow. They resurrect not only the songs, but also the era of the wild 50s. Prepare with enough hair gel, because you will surely need it!
