Hungary's National Consumer Protection Authority (NFH) will launch a survey to find out about consumers’ opinion about 11 topics, economic daily Napi Gazdaság wrote.
The results will be used for devising a new consumer protection strategy and mid-term policy as well as for the modification of the current consumer protection law, said István Pintér, head of the agency. Among the topics are the ratio of Hungarian products on the market, the warranty and expiry, and the lack of regulations in the field of services.
The survey will take place between July 18 and September 30. Online and paper formats are both available: the answers can be sent via email, by post or through local representations of NFH. A national consultation on the new strategy is also held in parallel with the survey.
