BKK to replace obsolete vehicle fleet

Dávid Vitézy, CEO of the center for Budapest transportation BKK, said that development plans include the linking of metro line 2 and Gödöllő suburban railway. At a conference held today on sustainable city development, Vitézy also said that the replacement of the outworn vehicle fleet of  metro line 3 is also on the agenda as well as the extension of suburban railway lines to the outskirts of Budapest, Ráckeve and Csepel, and the tram 42 all the way to Havanna housing estates.
