Sopron Bank “outgrows” branch in Győr, opens new one

Hungary's Sopron Bank, owned by Austria's Bank Burgenland, a member of the Grawe insurance group, opened a new branch in Győr after “outgrowing” its old branch in the city.

Sopron Bank's parent has so far invested €240 million in the area along Hungary's border with Austria. The bank has 18 branches in the region and two branches in Budapest.

The bank currently has stock of loans of €250 million and stock of deposits of €66 million. Sopron Bank has made attracting deposits a priority task, Sopron Bank CEO Thomas Radil said. (MTI – Econews)
